Our home was built in 1926, is very drafty, and is in need of a basement upgrade that will provide our child with a safe, warm, and clean place to spend her first few years of life. 565e stratford avenue, salt lake city, ut 84106 the following is the scope, and order of operations, of what will take place to prepare our basement for baby: 1. Tear out old floors, drywall, and framing from basement thereby exposing the foundation and original concrete slab floor. 2. Install hydronic radiant floor heating to supplement existing electric furnace. A. 1-inch eps rigid foam insulation sheets installed directly onto existing concrete slab. I. Joints of insulation sheets will be sealed on top and bottom using weatherproof tape. B. 1 8 wire remesh sheets layed out in grid formation on to of eps sheets. C.
