The purpose of the monitoring well installations and sampling is to evaluate the subsurface environment, where accessible, to determine if the past use of the property or the past use of neighboring properties has impacted the subsurface soils and groundwater. The scope of service will involve the installation (using hsa) of nine two-inch groundwater monitoring wells, to facilitate the collection of groundwater samples in the vicinity of the former usts area. During drilling operations soil samples will be collected, field screened and submitted for laboratory analysis. The locations of the monitoring wells are depicted on figure 1 in relation to previous environmental borings advanced on the property.
