A total of one soil test borings will be drilled at the above referenced site for our subsurface exploration. The boring will be drilled using hand augers and associated dynamic cone penetrometer tests and will extend to a depth of 5 feet below current site grades. The boring will be used to conduct one infiltration test to determine soil permeability. We anticipate that the maximum annular diameter of the hole from the field exploration including the hand auger will be about 4 inches. The soil sampling interval will be every 2. 5 feet. The samples will be containerized and transported offsite for geotechnical classification and laboratory testing.

A total of three 3 soil test boring will be drilled at the above referenced site at the front of the existing building. The boring will be drilled using 3. 25-inch continuous flight augers. The boring will extend to a maximum depth of 35 feet below current site grades. The boring will be drilled using a truck- or atv-mounted drill rig. We anticipate that the maximum annular diameter of the hole from the field exploration including the auger flights will be about 6-inches. The soil sampling interval will be every 2. 5 feet within the upper feet of the boring, followed by every 5 feet to the maximum depth explored. The samples will be containerized in glass jars for geotechnical classification and laboratory testing. To prevent contamination of the boring between soil strata, the drilling rods will be decontaminated using a steam cleaner or an alconox solution prior to commencing drilling of each boring.
