The awning will attach to the rear elevatin of the building (not interfering with the rear fire escape stairs) and will be attached to the rear elevation through the mortar joints not through the bricks. The awning will connect to the ground with 6" galvanized steel posts bolted with plates in a concrete foundation. Posts will be coated or painted to match the trim of the building. Awning fabric will be vanguard vinyl/polyester 2984 colonial blue. Note: applicant will submit more information about the color of the steel posts to chap staff for review and approval. All work to be completed as per plans in chap files.
