We will perform a total of 8 environmental and 4 geotechncial soil borings on the proposed site. The environmental borings will be advanced to a depth of 25 feet or probe refusal via a geoprobe which utilizes a hydraulic hammer to push a 2. 25 inch diameter macrocore lined steel rod with a polyethylene sleeve into the ground. The geotechnical borings will be advanced to a depth of 1 feet below existing site grades via 3. 25-inch hollow stem, continuous flight augers generating an approximate 6-inch annulus. After subsurface exploration is completed, the borings will be backfilled with bentonite slurry, which has a consistency of two pounds bentonite powder to one gallon water. Borehole abandonment will be performed by tremie-grouting via a positive-displacement pump from the bottom of the borehole.

Ecs proposes the installation of six soil borings to a maximum depth of feet below ground surface. Each boring will be completed with a geoprobe drill rig and grounted following installation using a doee approved grount mix.

We will perform a total of four soil borings on the site. Each of the borings will be advanced to a depth of 75 feet below existing site grades, and will be located within the bounds of the private property. The borings will be drilled utilizing 4. 25-inch hollow stem, continuous flight augers. The borings will be performed utilizing a truck-mounted drill rig and will generate approximately 6-inch annulus. Once the confining clay layer is encountered during sampling, 4-inch steel casing will be installed to a depth of at least feet into the clay layer. After geotechnical exploration is completed, the borings will be backfilled with bentonite slurry, which has a consistency of two pounds bentonite powder to one gallon water. This scope of work applies to the below grade garage portion of a 2 phase, mixed-use project located at 2 eye street se in wdc. Located on the corner of i street and s. Capitol street se, the 13-story building is 1 feet high and served by rooftop amenities. Two levels of underground parking garage serve both phases of the project. This construction will include deep foundations, two below grade concrete parking levels and the first floor concrete slab.

A griffin hollow stem auger hsa drill rig will install up twenty gravel pack wells, by advancing a 12. 25 id hsa from existing grade to a depth of feet or refusal. All drill cutting and investigating derived wastes from potentially contaminated sites shall be placed in a covered container and laboratory tested for offsite disposal by contractor. Into each well will be installed a 1hp turbine submersible pump with discharge riser, power cord and lift cable to the surface. At the well head , a throttle valve and check valve will be installed on the effluent line, for each well will be directed through a common manifold to a baffled settling tank bst located at a location as directed by dc water or ddoe.
