Installation of new diesel fire pump in accordance with nfpa in an existing accessory out-building, formerly used as a salt shed. Pump to be used to provide an automatic water supply to the existing dry standpipe systems in two residential high-rise structures on separately deeded lots, but under common ownership - evergreen tower @ 2393 woodward st. And plaza tower @ 24 tremont st., permit also includes installation of underground fire service in accordance with nfpa 13 from the tap in woodward st to the fire pump, and from the pump to the standpipe connection in the basement levels of both buildings, as well as all modifications to the existing manual dry systems required for the conversion to automatic wet in accordance with nfpa 14. All six existing standpipes (3 in ech building) will be extended to new roof hydrants and will be used to supply automatic sprinkler in both buildings.
