Sheeting and shoring scope- establish a firm, 50' wide, level bench and drill piles where shown on plan. Excavate (b. O.), in 5 foot lifts, and install lagging to one foot below each tie or brace elevation. If sandy soil is encountered or soil loss occurs, reduce the lifts to avoid potential loss of excavation. Lagging procedures will occur during excavation process. Install bracing by following the procedures below and the details as shown on sheet 4: install seats for the wale. Install wale install corner braces. Install braces, prior to install install the temporary berm. Install heel blocks where shown on the plan. Pre-load all braces to 50% of design load given on the schedule.
