This curb cut had been planned for construction with the republic square phase 2 building, to complete the project. Work will include a 6 foot wide sidewalk pedestrian safety area to separate the new curb cut from an existing adjacent curb cut.. Existing sidewalk way-finding sign on north capitol street will be relocated to accommodate new curb cut. Work to also include replacement of public space sidewalk paving at the existing massachusetts avenue private driveway entrance with paving to match the adjacent sidewalk areas, and provide right turn only sign at driveway outlet. All work to meet ddot construction standards.
