Bar gas hi jay, i went and took a look at battery park ave. Sky-bar outdoor gas fire pit. The fire pit stands in a cage with lava rock covering the burners. There is a gas shut off valve next to the unit. This fire pit is fed natural gas from the level below where they have a gas radiant tube heater. The gas supply line is fixed lengths of with quick disconnect fittings. There is a y quick disconnect receiving the main supply and branching to the tube heater and then up to this gas fire pit. We would need to see the manufacturers installation instructions for the correct materials and fittings to be used. I do know that there are fixed length gas flexible tubing sold specifically for outdoor patios. Would need to verify if the product is listed and labeled. One thing that bothered me about the quick disconnect fittings and tubing is that it was all hanging without any type of hanger or support. One section of the supply is woven thru the guard rail to keep it in place.
