Permit application for vcc architecture review committee submittal, application covers:renovation and modification of existing multifamily residential building at 913 governor nicholls to include five (5) residential units. Demolition of existing parking structure and proposed new construction of three story, six residential unit building on site.

Renovation of existing blue-rated plantation style building, per materials stamped vcc approved 07 17 17, as follows: remove existing non-historic rear stair (on barracks side) and install new stair to match details of historic, front stair, per drawings. All exterior millwork must use spanish cedar or mahogany. Remove metal roof from rear, barracks-side enclosed porch and install new copper standing seam roof. All new gutters, flashing, roof vents, and roof nails shall be copper. Repair slate roof and siding as needed, to match existing. Install three (3) vsm08 velux skylights on rear, barracks-side roof slope repoint masonry and install new stucco on building as needed using vcc mortar and stucco formulas (attached). All reinstalled masonry must be properly "toothed in" to existing masonry wall, using vcc mortar formula (attached).
