Six proposed wells mw-16, mw-17, mw-18, mw-19, mw- and mw-21 are to be used as monitoring wells. A geoprobe 7822dt rig will be used and has the capability to push 4 or 5 foot acetate sleeves to collect soil samples and log soils. Once the boring has been logged, the rig will convert over to augers to drill the 10. 25 inch boreholeáforátheáinstallationáofátheámonitoringáwell.áeach monitoring well will be installed to a depth of ten feet below observed groundwater, approximately 25- feet below ground surface. Based on previous field activities conducted by ges, it is anticipated that groundwater will be found at approximately 15- feet below ground surface. The monitoring wells will be constructed of 4-inch diameter schedule pvc with continuous-wrap screen extending from final depth to approximately ten feet above the water table. Using 4-inch pipe and continuous-wrap screen will allow the monitoring wells to be converted to recovery wells if required.
