SCORE 100 The proposed work consist on abandon 19 groundwater monitoring wells. Antea group has contracted advanced environmental concepts, llc -aec0- to abandon five 1 inch monitoring wells, three 2 inch monitoring wells, and eleven 4 inch monitoring and recovery wells. At each monitoring well location completed in asphalt, the manway will be removed and then the well will be properly abandoned to the surface using portland cement. The portland cement mixing ratio is as follows- 94 lbs. Cement / 7 lbs. Bentonite / 6 gallons water. At each monitoring well location completed in grass, the concrete pad -if present- and manway will be removed and then the well will be properly abandoned using portland cement -same ratio as above-, brought to grade with selfcompacting crushed stone, and then covered with top soil and grass seed.
