Sperry tents is installing tents in 6 areas at the carnegie library on july 15th, 2014. The event is for the microsoft worldwide partner celebration. Microsoft is obtaining all permits to close mt vernon place, k street, 7th street and 9th street. Mt. Vernon square will be completely closed for this private event. Sperry tents is obtaining structural permits for the event. There will be a 24 round, two 16 rounds, two 15x15, a 9x and a 9x10. Tents will be open on all sides except for the 9x which will have two means of egress. All site plans, structural drawings, and flame certificates are present and current. No smoking or cooking under the tent. Standing only.
