Pdf and 95279_photos_667356_neighbor-fence-2. Pdf). We wanted to replace the fence and we applied and received a permit to replace in kind of existing fence. SCORE 79 We constructed a fence on our back yard that was over the height limit and a "work stopped order" was issue by a dc inspector (mr. Nathaniel turner). We then applied for a "fence (exception over 42") permit" (tracking number 95279) and went in front of the public space committee for a hearing. They denied our application (see attached letter of denial psc-letter. Pdf) but during the hearing we provided information as to how we could make modification to comply with dc codes. The committee said that what we proposed could be done with a regular "fence to 42" (open design)" permit and did not need the psc committee approval. We went ahead and started the application that same day (tracking number 98201) and decided to provide our documentation in person but we were told that in order to continue with the new application we needed to wait for the proper denial letter which we received thursday august 7th, 2014.
