At around 5:45 pm i received a call from fire marshall carl caughorn in relation to water damage. Upon arrival i met with the building manager stephanie clark and carl. We proceeded to the 3rd floor. Apparently while repairing the roof, the roofers were caught off guard to the sudden rain storm while a portion of the roof membrane was removed. The results are as follows, the electrical panels on 3,2 and 1st floors had water running out of them, the fixtures also had water running out of them. The ceiling had let go in a room on the 3rd floor, walls were also wet as well as ceilings down to the ground floor on the north side. On the ground floor the tenant space has water damage and i spotted 1 incandescent fixture full of water. The elevator machine room showed no sign of water damage, the only water appeared to enter under the door, more than likely the elevator pit could have water in it if the sump pump failed.
