Separate permits required for renovation. No structural changes. Must maintain all code required fire rating on wall and floor ceiling assemblies. Three sets of plans drawn to professional quality are to be submitted for review and approval by the department before work on renovation starts. Contact streets department for dumpster permit and footway closure permits. No demolition to fire rated assemblies. Vacant buildings need vacant license and sealed and secured.
