SCORE 56 The fence will be along a retaining wall that separates the lawn in front of our home from the driveway of our neighboring businesses (broad branch market and broad branch childrens house) located at 5608 broad branch rd nw, washington, dc 20015. The retaining wall resides in the public space along the sidewalk. The retaining wall is not an extension of the property line, but has historically separated our lawn from the neighboring driveway. We have always taken care of the lawn, and the land. However, we are concerned about the significant erosion in this land which appears to be mostly due to children (visiting the market and attending the childrens house) playing in this area. They climb on the retaining wall and then jump and slide on the ground. To address this problem, we would like to place a permanent fence along the retaining wall on our side of the wall. We would also like to construct a similar fence along the sidewalk, again on our side.
