SCORE 56 There are currently two 32. 5x17 inch windows in the basement. These windows will be replaced with 32. 5x43. 5 inch windows. The windows are alside casement windows. They have insulted glass, a vinyl frame, are an energy star partner, and have a u-factor of 0. 28 we are leaving the same header in as we are not making the window any wider. We will cut through our foundation 27 inches deep to allow for the new windows. The window well is a steel well from menards with dimensions that are 50w, 36d, 48h. The bottom of the window well will be 18 inches below the sill of the windows. Eighteen inches of gravel will be laid at the bottom of each window well to allow for drainage. The sill height will be 38 inches above the inside floor of the house. We will use two shape egress dome window well covers (model 5338dome).
