Renovation of the interior dining room and living room area to include opening up two doorways to 9 wide by 7 tall, adding six recessed lights per room and custom built in shelves and a hutch system on the dining room back wall. We will be replacing the two upper windows on the left side of the dining room and replace the current doorway with a fixed glass picture window to match the right side of the house. We will be adding a closet to the hallway area with a built in desk on the backside or kitchen area of the room with two recessed lights being added to the center of the ceiling. The hardwood floors will be sanded and refinished on the first floor only. I consulted with paul hoffman at metro historic commision about the window replacement before filing for this permit and he they they would not have to be involved. Remains single family residence.
