One soil test boring will be drilled near the se corner of the old stone house. The boring will be to bedrock, within feet of existing ground surface. In the same general location as the boring, a test pit with a depth of six feet will be excavated.

Repair exterior structure and foundation, ,install fire suppression system including construction of a new fire service line from the existing building to the existing watermain in m street. Project also includes construction of a new free standing fire department connection and associated vault on the old stone house property. Repairs in the vicinity of the existing retaining wall located on the old stone house property are also included in the project improvements to address drainage issues in conjunction with retaining wall improvements. A new storm inlet is also proposed on the old stone house property to capture runoff from the existing roof drain in this area correcting drainage issues observed during site investigations. The new inlet will connect to existing storm sewer located on the old stone house property.
