Proposed alternative: city ordinance requires unit be located on building roof. Existing chiller and pump are located in basement machinery room, and locating back-up air cooled chiller on roof would require running exposed supply and return pipe mains exposed along exterior of bldg from roof to grade (no place to add pipe chase to the interior for the full height of existing building).

The project will include the interior renovation of the building, exterior renovation of the building, a 2-story atrium addition along monroe avenue, and a new hardscape along the east and west sides of the building. The hardscape along the west side of the building will include updates to the sidewalk within the public right-of-way. The current use of the building is a multi-tenant commercial building including offices and restaurants. The proposed use of the building will remain consistent with the current use.
