Co for two-family dwelling only-vacant commercial space requires separate permits for use registration and co prior to occupancy for the erection of a third floor addition with a roof deck at the rear above the second story roof, and for level iii alterations throughout to an existing attached structure used as vacant commercial space on the first floor (use registration & co required prior to occupancy) with a change in occupancy w o a change in occupancy classification to a two-family dwelling (from a single-family dwelling) above as per plans; accessible route upgrades for commercial unit (all outside property lines-approved by streets dept.), new stairs with fire-rated enclosure, full renovation of dwelling units. Separate permits required for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression work. Building to be fully sprinklered throughout with nfpa 13.
