Perform a total of 11 geotechnical borings on the project site. From ten to sixty feet drilling will be utilizing a truck or atv mounted drill rigg each 6inches diameter hollow stemmaugers.

Four 2-inch diameter soil borings, using direct push, will be advanced to feet below grade for soil and groundwater sampling. Drilling equipment will be decontaminated between each boring. The soil boring -well- will be abandoned within 8 hours of installation and according to the protocols stated in the attached work plan.

Interior only work including selective demolition of partitions and new partitions with associated mechanical and electrical work on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of school.

Perform 21 geotechnical borings to depths ranging from 6 to 15 feet below the existing site grades. Perform 1 auger probe borings and 19 hand augers for infiltration testing. Each geotechnical and auger probe boring will be performed utilizing an atv mounted drill rig utilizing 3. 25 inch hollow stem augers creating an approximate 6 inch annuls. Hand augers will be performed by hand excavation and create a 3 inch annuls. Borings, probes, and hand augers will be abandoned in accordance with ddoe requirements.

This project is located at 1401 brentwood parkway in northeast washington, dc. This project includes the removal of an existing ball field, demolition of selected site features, and construction of a new synthetic turf filed, a basketball court and a tennis court. The existing fence shall remain at the perimeter of the field except for the area in left field which will be replaced by the new tennis and basketball court fences. A new bioretention area will be constructed outside of the center field fence which will collect all of the sites stormwater. The overall drainage pattern for the site will not be changed from the existing condition, and overland flow will be improved with the inclusion of the new synthetic turf, as permeable pavers, which will eliminate any erosion along the drainage way along the southeastern property line.
