SCORE 95 The proposed project will remove the existing bench, railroad ties, and ecology blocks. Asphalt will be removed to accommodate a larger landscaped area. The project will replace the deteriorating bench and railroad tie border with new benches and a pine rail fence. The project will install a crushed rock path, bike racks, and the ecology block bollards will be replaced. All work will occur landward of ordinary high water (ohw). The project previously submitted a pre-application for a shoreline substantial development permit (project #3022109), but due to site constraints the scope of work was significantly reduced. Therefore sdot is now applying for an exemption from a shoreline substantial development permit.
