Dccr project proposes to excavate five shallow pits (nebbv-3, nebbv-4, nebbv-5, nebbv-6 nebbv-7) for the purpose of utility location on the sidewalk along the eastbound parking lane of v street nw approximately feet west of 1st st nw. The pits will be approximately 1 foot in diameter and less than feet deep. The pits will be excavated using soft dig techniques (air knife and vacuum extraction). The work time to complete the excavations will be approximately 3 days and will require the full work time of 7am -7pm. The work zone will require a pedestrian detour; however parking meters or trees will not be impacted.
