District hardware - the bike shop, located at 1108 24th st nw, washington dc 20037, would like to submit for approval by ddot the installation of 5 additional bicycle racks and pump for public use on the 11 block of 24th street, located between l and m st. Nw. The racks would be surface mounted by district hardware, with approved mounting equipment, installed in 4 locations lining 24th street (attachment: bike rack placement. Png). The racks and pump will be manufactured by dero, who is on the approved list of dc vendors. The breakdown of each site is as follows: site 1: two hoop racks placed diagonal to 24th st plus an outdoor rated, permanently mounted bicycle pump (dero air kit 2) site 2-4: singe hoop rack at each site installed parallel to 24th st the hoop racks would be purchased by district hardware and would be customized with the #2 design enclosed on the pdf. The final racks will be finished in red (black is the alternative).
