1078 patton is recently vacant. I stopped by to see what work was being done and found that they had removed a free standing office, dropped ceiling tiles and lights removed throughout with multiple open electrical 4x4 boxes. Free standing office did not go to ceiling of and was not attached to premise other than at the floor. Work is all minor in nature with the exception of the electrical issue. Tenant also needs at least 1 approved 2-a 10-bc fire extinguisher on site. I sent co-owner (jan hammond 843-redacted phone number) to get permits for same.. She should be in after lunch. Based on the attached buncombe county tax record, the proposed work is on is building number 3, the old car service, the tax value is shown as: 40,800, which would put the 50% flood substantial improvement value at 20,400. I have attached the national flood insurance guidance on the tracking toward substantial improvement for your reference. Page 8-8 shows the items included and items excluded in the tracking toward substantial improvement costs.
