I received a complaint a while back regarding the above premise(s) being occupied. I had the opportunity to meet with the property owner today and was advised that the person(s) that brought the complaint about has since vacated the premise. The owner advised that there is a new tenant who wants the whole premise and that he would refer the perspective tenant to the dsc for permits for office space for a real estate office. According to the owner of the property this premise was in place when the property was purchased in 1997 and is by his admission as it was. It is divided into 2 small offices (1 < than 1 sq.+ or -, and the other < 2 sq. + or -) and the address is accurate in the map asheville program. After a walk through with the owner, i advised the him that the premise would require tenant occupancy permits in order to be occupied and that any other applicable permits (signs, etc) would also be required.
