We will perform a total of two borings utilizing 3. 25-inch augers. The borings will be extended to approximate depths of feet below existing site grades. The borings will be performed utilizing a track-mounted drill rig with continuous flight augers and will generate an approximately 6-inch annulus. Soil samples will be taken at every 2. 5 feet in the upper ten feet and at five-foot intervals thereafter. The samples will be placed in glass jars for geotechnical classification. To prevent possible cross-contamination between boreholes, the drilling rods will be decontaminated using a steam cleaner or an alconox solution prior to commencing drilling operations for each boring. The boreholes will be grouted upon completion and the spoils drummed for off-site disposal.
